2.1 Information You Provide

• Shopify Store Information: Your shop domain, store name, and email address when you install our app
• Social Media Accounts: When you connect Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts, we receive access tokens and basic account information (page name, Instagram username, account IDs)
• Content: Images you upload, AI-generated mockups, and captions you create or edit
• Brand Profile: Brand voice preferences, target audience information, and posting preferences you configure

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Features used, posts scheduled, and interactions with the app
• Device Information: Browser type, IP address, and device identifiers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Post content to your connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts on your behalf
• Schedule and manage your social media posts
• Generate AI-powered mockups and captions using your product images
• Store your content and preferences for future use
• Process payments and manage subscriptions through Shopify Billing
• Communicate with you about service updates and support

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encryption of data at rest
• Access tokens stored securely and never exposed to client-side code
• Regular security audits and updates

5. Third-Party Services

We share your information with the following third parties only as necessary to provide our services:

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): To publish posts to your connected accounts using Meta's Graph API
• Google (Gemini AI): To generate AI-powered mockups and captions (images are processed but not stored by Google)
• Shopify: For authentication, billing, and product data access
• Firebase (Google Cloud): For secure data storage and hosting

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

• Account Data: Retained until you uninstall the app or request deletion
• Social Media Tokens: Retained until you disconnect the account or tokens expire
• Uploaded Content: Retained until you delete it or uninstall the app
• Scheduled Posts: Retained for 90 days after posting or cancellation

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: View your connected accounts and stored content within the app
• Disconnect: Disconnect Facebook/Instagram accounts at any time from Settings
• Delete: Delete individual mockups, scheduled posts, or request full data deletion
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Uninstall: Remove the app from your Shopify store at any time

8. Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data:

• Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin - this triggers automatic data deletion
• Visit our Data Deletion page for manual deletion requests
• Email us at jared@homeplaceapparel.com

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Facebook/Instagram Data Use

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we access:

• List of Facebook Pages you manage
• Instagram Business accounts linked to those Pages
• Permission to publish photos and posts on your behalf

We use this access solely to post content that you explicitly schedule or publish through our app. We do not:

• Access your personal Facebook profile or private messages
• Post without your explicit action
• Share your social media credentials with any third party
• Use your data for advertising purposes

10. Children's Privacy

SocialStitch is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in compliance with applicable laws.
